Chief Executive Officer
Pranav is a Senior at Lincoln East High school this upcoming fall. He is current CEO of CodeForChange, an organization that encourages students to explore computer science. He has worked with his peers and mentors to help CodeforChange grow into a progressive nonprofit organization . Now as CEO , Pranav has acquired orders and is currently managing both the Omaha and Lincoln branches. Additionally, he has coordinated with all advisers, students and clients to help CodeforChange run smoothly. His interest in experiential learning and computational thinking has lead him to inspire students towards a future in entrepreneurship with computer science
Anish is a Senior at Millard North High School this upcoming fall. He is the COO for the Omaha branch and has taken responsibility of being the Chief Technology Officer for CodeforChange. As COO, Anish has recruited multiple students from Omaha and has been a strong influence on the expansion of CodeforChange. He has also helped in the planning process for CodeforChange meetings by coordinating with students and running weekly meetings in Omaha. As Chief Technology Officer, he has used his Python, Javascript, HTML and CSS skills to help create this website and help further students' understanding on the computer science aspects of their projects.
Josh will be a senior at Lincoln North Star high school this fall (2019-2020). As a motivated high school student, he tries to be as involved as possible. Some of his extracurricular include tennis, trap, and FBLA. As co-coordinator, he has helped in recruiting students from Lincoln and creating the awareness of computer science in the rural parts of Nebraska. Gaining an opportunity with Code For Change has led him to help students get a exposure to computer science and entrepreneurship.
Dalton Hellwege is a incoming senior at Lincoln North Star High School and serve as co-coordinator for CodeForChange. He aspires to go to college and major in finance or actuarial science. As coordinator, he has served to help recruit students from the Lincoln area and create awareness of the lack to computer science in the area. His role within the CodeForChange team is to coordinate communication between interns and advise professors and team leaders on how to run their part of things as efficiently as possible.
Dr.Guru is a computational scientist and educational researcher and focuses on curriculum development in both formal and non-formal educational settings. He has been a long time advisor who is also a part of the UNL faculty. Dr.Guru's guidance has helped us acquire strong clientele for our projects. His goal is to help students achieve their dreams everyday
Dr.Kim teaches experiential learning courses regarding product development, entrepreneurship, and innovation for students and professionals at the University of Nebraska - Lincoln. She has been the primary coordinator for the CodeforChange program and her influence and guidance have been essential to our success. Her experience in entrepreneurship has helped us achieve clients all over the country. Adding this with her computer skills have been a vital aspect in guiding our executive board and the project teams in the right direction.
Euwanda Jennings, 4-H Urban Youth Development Educator, for Nebraska
Extension and is a native of
Omaha. Ms. Jennings received a Master of Arts degree from the University of Nebraska-Omaha. For the past 16 years her work has been dedicated to serving families living in Douglas
and Sarpy County
area. Euwanda’s passion is to encourage youth to embrace their talents and
abilities so they can overcome the challenges found in today’s society. As an adviser for CodeforChange, she has played an essential role in providing support to students and giving them guidance on the societal needs and their impact in the society.
Irene is a PhD student in the University of Nebraska Lincoln. She is originally from the Philippines and is hoping to create a societal change in the future through her studies. In turn, working as an adviser for CodeforChange, she has been essential in contacting all students and making sure the program runs smoothly.
